Our mission is to create nature immersive experiences that ignite lasting change. We do this by collaborating with handpicked specialists from diverse fields to offer unique and transformational moments that will inspire and promote your pursuit of adventure.

The Beginning

Growing up in northwest Montana, Liz Poole spent her childhood running barefoot through the woods, working at her mom’s logging business, and trying to keep up with her seven older brothers and one sister on their wild adventures. After experiencing a series of familial losses as a child that culminated in her mother’s loss to a battle with cancer, Liz discovered kayaking. At the age of 19, Liz quickly fell in love with the community and the healing nature of the river. Kayaking brought her a sense of place and purpose that shifted the course of her life.

The Growth

In 2014, Liz began her Swiftwater Rescue and Guide Training in Glacier National Park and, the next year, began working for Pure Life Aspiro in Costa Rica as an Adventure Therapy Guide. Liz has professionally guided over 6,800 river miles, led multi-week trips down the Grand Canyon, and instructed multiple whitewater kayaking clinics. If she is not out climbing crags, and paddling rivers spanning the Pacific Northwest to South America, Liz is focusing her time on event coordination and trip design.

The Now

With her wealth of connections, wilderness experience, and deep desire to create life-changing moments for others, she has come to trust in the healing power of outdoor spaces. Liz founded FLUX Adventure Designs for those who are seeking community and growth through adventure. Located in Whitefish, Montana, FLUX Adventure Designs collaborates with local experts and specialists to create all-inclusive, customized, outdoor experiences and workshops.
